About the edge

Segment caching

Media segments are cached at the edge with a long TTL and revalidated against the origin. Playlists carry short lifetimes so live edits propagate quickly.

Origin shielding

Viewer requests terminate at the edge; the origin only serves cache-fill traffic. Delivery APIs are proxied over keep-alive upstream connections.

Health

Machine status is exposed at /health as JSON for upstream monitoring and load-balancer checks.
